Teen Safety

Built carefully for young people.

Teens grow up faster than adults are ready for. When they do reach out, the people on the other side need to be the right people — trained, moderated, and accountable.

Who can use LFGxp

Anyone 18 or older can sign up directly.

Users aged 16–17 may participate only with documented consent of a parent or legal guardian. We confirm consent before the account is activated.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe an under-16 has signed up, email safety@lfgxp.com and we will close the account.

How we protect young users

Teens are only matched into moderated peer circles, never one-to-one with adults outside their own age band.

Every circle that includes a teen has a trained peer expert present.

Voice notes and messages are scanned for safeguarding triggers (self-harm, abuse, exploitation). Anything flagged is reviewed by a human within hours.

Teens can leave any circle at any time, with one tap, no questions asked.

If a teen is in danger

If you believe a young person is at immediate risk of harm — to themselves or from someone else — call 999 right now.

For mental-health emergencies in the UAE, the Mental Disorder Helpline (800-SAKINA) on 800 725462 is staffed 24/7.

You can also email safety@lfgxp.com. Safeguarding reports are escalated immediately, day or night.

A guide for parents and guardians

LFGxp is peer support, not therapy. Trained peers can listen and share what worked for them — they cannot diagnose, prescribe, or replace clinical care.

Ask your teen what they get out of it. Most young users tell us the best part is hearing from someone a few years ahead who genuinely understands.

If you'd like to review the full safeguarding framework, the Community Guidelines, or the Expert Code of Conduct, write to safety@lfgxp.com and we'll walk you through it.
