Our story
Looking for Group Exp. (LFGxp) is the peer-support arm of the Lived Experience People Foundation (LEPF). We bring the conversations that don't fit a clinic — the bad days, big questions, and the long middle of recovery — into a safe, bilingual space designed in the UAE.
We were started by people who lived it before they built it. Trained peer experts, clinicians, and community leaders work together so that no one has to translate themselves into a diagnosis just to be heard.
Aligned with UAE Vision 2071 and the National Strategy for Wellbeing, our work makes sure every person of determination, every individual with a chronic condition or life challenge, has equal access to peer support and the rights they deserve.

Community circles, 1-on-1 peer matching, and voice-message check-ins led by people with lived experience.
Training & capacity building
Peer-leader training and a lived-experience facilitation curriculum for partners across the UAE.
Research & advocacy
We surface what people actually need — to clinicians, employers, and policy makers — through lived-experience research.
Clinical & community partnerships
We build with hospitals, NGOs, and community organisations so peer support sits alongside professional care, not against it.

Emotional restoration: connection, compassion, belonging — the part no app can shortcut.
Cognitive healing: awareness, peer-led support, and rebuilding the thought patterns that hold you up.
